I'm an English teacher, who has left South Africa , my native country, twelve years ago, to live and work in Canada, Ireland, Germany and Luxembourg. My travels have afforded me the opportunity to breach many cultural divides and also accumulate a wealth of experiences that I love to write about. Growing up in a politically turbulent and deeply disenfranchised, township community of apartheid, South Africa, I feel confiident in my ability to illustrate emotive recounts of this draconian legacy.My love for words, irreverent humour and top student at the 'school-of hard-knocks', makes my life a rich tapestry of poignant, yet hilarious moments, that I'm hoping to share with other readers.
